What is the weight limit on a hammock?

I’m a big guy. Right now I weigh 350lbs.  I love my cheap hammock. It was inexpensive, it’s made of rope and I’m comfortable in it.

There are some weight limits on most hammocks. But I have found that if I go to a camping store that the people that work at the store do not know the weight limits on the cheap hammocks. Also if when you purchase a cheap hammock, you may not find the weight limit on the box.

While researching cheap hammocks online, I found that Hammocks.com not only shows you close up pictures of the hammocks they sell, they also show you the weight limit of the hammock. I felt much safer purchasing my cheap hammock from them.
